You aren’t nobodies and you aren’t nothing. You are precious gifts of God, unique and special creations. You are every bit as important as any emperor, prime minister or president. To the person you sleep with, the person you share a house with, the person you share a street with, the person you share a pew with, the person you work beside on Monday or the person you play beside on Saturday, you are God’s gift, with the power to bless or to curse, to heal or to wound, to tear down or to build up. You are God’s gift. So act like it. Kill that old way of thinking and live the resurrected life, which is what you really are. Others may still treat you like you are nobody, but don’t let them drag you down. You know who you really are. You know that we are all loved by God, precious in God’s sight, that each person is God’s gift. So don’t just think that up in your head. Live it, make it part of the way you act and live every day.
